The basic duty of the Tribal Planner and the Planning Department is to help with the planning of potential construction projects and land use on the reservation as well as to help develop master plans that set the standards for future economic and environmental development that will benefit the people and their current needs and for the future generations of the tribes.

Staff members Augustine Cleveland and Gregory Fisher are the GIS Tech's/ Planning Aide and Planner I. Their major duties are working with the Geographic Information System (mapping) and road projects on the reservation and to also assist in the processing the paperwork only for Tribal members who are requesting water and sewer hookup, depending on HIS guidelines.

The following documents are needed to process the above requests:

1. A copy of a letter to Chairman Eddy requesting services.
2. BIA Lease Agreement.
3. CRIT Resolution (not to exceed one year from the date on the resolution).
4. A copy of the home site plot plan.
